I don't remember a Halloween in Idaho when we got to trick or treat in 60 degree weather, but that's what we got in New York! We live in a perfect neighborhood for walking around and scoring lots of candy! In fact, the neighborhood is so ideal for this reason that we got about 200 trick or treaters. Fortunately, we were warned ahead of time by our neighbors and we didn't run out of candy. Mykah was a beautiful High School Musical cheerleader, with her favorite part of her costume being my "dangly" earrings-go figure! Max loved having me paint on his nose, but didn't think much of the hood part of his puppy costume! He screamed for the first little while and pulled on the puppy ears until Dad got home (TRAITOR!) and then settled in nicely. The Barnum family came over, so we turned off the lights so we could take the hockey player, the ninja, the cheerleader and the 2 puppies (Yes, Bodie came, too. Joe wouldn't let us buy the adorable lobster costume for him, so he went costumeless!) for some old-fashioned door to door trick or treating. When we felt the kids had enough sugar to last quite some time, we all came back to our house to continue passing out candy and have some chili. The chili happens to be a tradition from the Borich family that I stumbled on to accidentally, but now we will continue to uphold that tradition. Enjoy the pix from our night, it was a great one! BTW, 1 wk until my parents and sister (along with her family) come out to see us... That will be a good time for an update from New York! Until then, we hope all is well!

They looked so cute! Does Myka fit that costume or what! It's perfect. I love the picture of max crying in the costume, it totally made me laugh.
I finally got Jody to make a blog for the lails. If you go to mine there is a link to hers.
